How do you calculate whether you can buy a house?
What are the requirements to buy a house?
To buy a house, you have to meet certain conditions and requirements. The main requirements when buying a house are whether you can afford the house (based on your income and your available financial resources) and whether your offer is accepted by the selling party. Is your offer accepted? Then you will sign the preliminary sales contract and have three days to think about the purchase without giving reasons.
Can I afford a house by myself?
Exactly how much you can borrow to buy a house if you are single depends on several factors. First, your income must be high enough to take on the mortgage needed to buy the house. Therefore, calculate your maximum mortgage first. Furthermore, your mortgage cannot exceed 100% of the value of your home. There is an exception of 106% if you can prove that the extra 6% will be used for energy-saving measures.
