At Jungo, you can get up to 20 per cent of your mortgage financed by individuals. Jungo's mission is to make fair alternative finance the standard. They connect people, bringing supply and demand together without being in between themselves. Jungo is an independent company, based in Amsterdam.
No new Jungo mortgages
If you took out a mortgage with Jungo, 20 per cent was funded through crowdfunding. The remaining 80 per cent was funded by Aegon. In January 2020, it was announced that Aegon will stop funding Jungo mortgages. Therefore, it is currently not possible to take out a Jungo mortgage. Aegon will assume the rights and obligations of all current Jungo mortgages.
