How do you calculate whether you can buy a house?
What will advice and brokerage from De Hypotheker cost me?
It is important to us that you know what you pay us for our services. We are transparent and clear about this. The first meeting is at our cost. During this intake interview, you will get an insight into the steps needed to realise your plans and how we can advise and help you. The mortgage advisor will then inform you of the associated costs for the follow-up steps. For our advice and mediation, you pay De Hypotheker a one-off amount. The amount of this fee depends on the type of service you choose.
How do you prepare for a mortgage consultation?
Have you set up an appointment for a possible mortgage with one of our mortgage brokers or do you want to do so? Then it is important to prepare well for this meeting. For instance, make sure you have paper or online documents ready regarding your income, the income of your partner (if applicable) and your current monthly expenses. Do you currently already own a house with a mortgage? Then it is also wise to bring the WOZ value of the house and the mortgage details (such as the remaining mortgage debt, the interest percentage and the monthly costs of the mortgage). Do you not yet have everything at hand? In that case, this is not a problem during a first meeting with a mortgage broker. But you will need this information later if, following the first mortgage consultation, you actually decide to use our services.
What can you expect from our mortgage brokers?
An initial mortgage consultation with a mortgage broker from De Hypotheker is a meeting where the broker goes through the most important issues with you step by step. They will guide you through the entire mortgage process. Usually, a calculation of your maximum mortgage is also made during such a meeting. This will give you a better idea of the price category in which you can look for a house. Incidentally, you can always make a calculation of your maximum mortgage online in advance.
How quickly can I make an appointment?
After we receive your appointment request, we will contact you within 1 working day. During the phone call, we will ask some more questions so that we can help you as much as possible and try to schedule an appointment with you as soon as possible.
