My experience with the Hypotheker was a total disaster! Dennis Heldoorn was the agent who helped me. During the first meeting he promised me everything, I left his office very happy and immediately recommended him to my ex. Based on his mortgage advise I bought a new place and informed Dennis of everything. He kept promising that everything was arranged and I just had to send him the purchase contract. After I signed the purchase contract, it turned out that I could not borrow the amount that he calculated. Dennis made several primary mistakes in calculating the mortgage for my ex and I. In the end none of our mortgages were granted and I had to cancel the purchase of the house and pay for notary costs. Dennis simply run away when we needed him the most. He refused to take any responsibility on the process. Instead, he tried to turn the situation around by saying that I erroneously have declared a Bonus on my income statement. When I had him on the phone this guy was mad, unprofessional, yelling at me calling me a liar. Later on he emailed saying that ING declined my application because I had incorrectly declared the bonus on my income statement and that I was not entitled to any mortgage anymore and that he will no longer help me and that he will send me the bill for his service (Which he actually did). I called ING to understand exactly what happened and to request a new mortgage directly with the bank. The ING adviser explained to me that first I could never get the amount of mortgage that the hypotheker had calculated because I already had a mortgage and the duration of that mortgage had to be taken into account of the new mortgage. The impact was already +/- 30k less on the new mortgage. ING accepted the bonus I have declared on my income but advised me to put as provision. This guy should not work for such an institution as the hypotheker. He's a fraud, he only sees money. My advise to you is: Do not trust him! He will let you down.
